The wondrous moment!

Nature is innocent, pure and magical! I witnessed it’s magic three weeks back in a moment, which is imprinted in my mind forever
My husband and I were in Landour above Mussoorie with our family for a holiday. A quaint serene laid back Cantonment town with large pine trees everywhere, making it a magical place ( though it is starting to get popular and for day trippers)
We stayed in a lovely Villa on top of the hill with a beautiful garden and large trees. The room shown below has large Bay windows where you can look at the garden and the valley
One fine chilly April morning at 6:30 am, I had got up early to do some birding just within the property.
There is this one giant tree with large branches which attracted every bird possible.
I spied the Rufous sibia which had become a regular visitor in the last few days, and the cacophonous gray hooded warbler.
And then I saw movement. Something moving up the tree shuffling upwards then fluttering and again landing on the tree and going upwards. Aah can it be?.. Is it really??.. oh yes - it was the BAR TAILED TREE CREEPER.
I had seen it earlier, only once in Siliguri fleetingly in the rain and it felt magical and fascinating with its spindly legs gripping the tree, its stiff tail acting as some kind of support and its curved beak.
I was taking videos, photos and just enjoying the spectacle. It was nature in full display! I then spotted a second tree creeper 💃! I was on a high - it felt like a lottery. I was drinking nature to the fullest.
And that’s when the moment happened!
One of the tree creepers was on the large trunk quite close to me and it fluttered away from the tree and flew close to me and lo-and-behold it sat on my pyjamas just below my knee !! and looked up at me.
I was just frozen taken in with the beauty of that moment. It then flew back to the tree.
I just stood there.. stunned.. feeling full inside my 💓
A moment to cherish forever🫶🙏
